Company History

1992

February 26 – Establishment of Financial and Construction Company 'Konti'. Core operations – investments, construction, reconstruction, repairs, real-estate services.

1993

Reconstruction of administrative buildings in downtown Moscow: New Arbat 18, Lyalin Lane, 2. Construction of a warehouse complex in Solntsevo. The annual turnover of the KONTI Company amounted to USD 1.6m.

1994

By decree of the Government of Moscow, the Konti Company received the status of the General Customer-Developer of the Fili-Davydkovo Municipal District (demolition and reconstruction of the five-story housing stock, construction of new buildings).

1995

The Company initiated the establishment and became one of the founding members of the Moscow Investors' Association. Delivery of a 17-story apartment house with a floor area of 7,000 sq.m. (G. Kurin Street, 1, Bld.14) for the resettlement of people from decrepit five-story houses.

1996

Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov took part in the demolition of an old five-story building at Kastanaevskaya Str., 51, Bld 1. June 27 – Mayak-1 condominium was established for the purpose of providing quality maintenance and operational management of residential buildings constructed by KONTI. October 5 – KONTI Real Estate Trade Center was opened at New Arbat Str., 20.

1997 

By order of Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov, the Municipal Real Estate Trade Center was established on the basis of the KONTI Real Estate Trade Center. The construction of a two-level underground parking facility (G. Kurin Str., 14) was started using innovative techniques. September 26 – the Company spearheaded a round-table discussion between the Moscow Government and the heads of banks, which broached the problems faced by investors, and presented the draft program 'New Moscow Ring'.

1998 

Commissioning of a new house in Fili-Davydkovo at Kastanaevskaya Str., 51. The Moscow Government passed a resolution on the program 'New Moscow Ring', KONTI was appointed the management company of the program. The stone-laying ceremony of the first high-rise individually designed apartment complex at Rublevskoye Highway, 15 was attended by Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov.

1999

The Moscow Government issued Decree No. 80 'On the implementation of the Municipal Comprehensive Investment Program 'New Moscow Ring''. KONTI was among the founders of the Russian-Norwegian Company 'Muelvenenergo' established for the production of the wooden components for residential houses. Foundation of the Pokrovskoye-Glebovo Palatial Estate Residential Complex.

2000

Foundation of the starter property of the 'New Moscow Ring' program with the participation of the Moscow Government – the Edelweiss Residential Complex. Commissioning of an individual design monolith-brick house at Rublevskoye Highway 11/2.

2001

Development and approval of an investment program for construction in the Central Federal District under the auspices of the Presidential Representative in the District G.S.Poltavchenko.Presentation of the unique estate complex Pokrovskoye-Glebovo.

2002

Work on the construction of houses in the cities of Kaluga, Tambov, Tula, Kursk was initiated within the framework of the housing construction program in the Central Federal District. Active construction of the residential complex 'Olimpiyskiy' with 118 apartments and 20 office spaces is under way in the resort town of Svetlogorsk – the first property of this class in Kaliningradskaya Region.

2003

Delivery of the Edelweiss Residential Complex. The development of a new property under the 'New Moscow Ring' program – high-rise complex 'Continental' with total floor area of ​​150,000sq.m. Completion of cottage community 'Gorki-8' in the Moscow suburbs on a plot of 43 hectares.

2004

In 2004, the Konti Group was successfully certified to the international quality management standard ISO 9001:2000. The certification was conducted by independent classification society Det Norske Veritas (DNV). The construction of deluxe residential complex 'Batus' was launched in the capital of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara Batumi – the first property of this class in the territory of Adjara.

2005

Completion of the 2ndstage of the Pokrovskoye Glebovo project – elite residential complex 'Pokrovsky Bereg'. The architectural ensemble combines Russian classicism with state-of-art engineering solutions. The residential complex consists of five multiple-story buildings and seventeen townhouses with a total floor area of ​​more than 50,000 sq.m.

2006

The filling of the unique base plate of the high-rise residential complex 'Continental' serving as the foundation for the 48-story tower – the high-rise dominant of the complex, which is one of the tallest residential buildings in the European part of Russia.

2007

Launch of the construction of a new Konti project – suburban community 'Ilyinka'. The project involves the construction and marketing of a new type of high-end real estate – lanehouses, which harmoniously combine European architectural styles and the latest engineering and landscaping solutions. Konti intensified activities under its production program: the launch of high-tech production 'Novokeramik' for the manufacture of modern building materials: bricks, paving slabs, concrete. Upgrading operations were started at the 'Keramika' plant in Tulskaya Region.

2008

Lanehouse community 'Ilyinka' was awarded the 'Residential Community of the Year 2008' prize. In situ concrete works were completed at the Continental Residential Complex. Commissioning of a multifunctional complex with a swimming pool, fitness center, mini market, and children's club – the final building of the deluxe residential complex 'Pokrovsky Bereg'. Successful launch of large-scale investment and construction projects in the Krasnodar Territory, St. Petersburg, in the republics of Adygea and Abkhazia. The Konti Group announced its participation in innovation business project 'Solar Wind' aimed at the development and production of renewable energy.

2009

The State Commission accepted the three buildings of the Continental Residential Complex. A production line for the manufacture of large-size ceramic blocks with a capacity of up 40 million pieces per year was launched at the 'Novokeramik' plant in Tula. Launch of the project toestablish a vertically integrated complex (VIC) for the production of photovoltaic products bringing together plants from Krasnoyarsk, Moscow, and Tula.

 

2010

At the Tula Interregional Conference 'Energy Efficiency 2010' in March 2010, an agreement on cooperation was signed between the administration of Tulskaya Region and the Konti Group on the development of energy-saving technologies and renewable energy sources. Within the framework of the photovoltaic product project, the Konti Group acquired one of the assets of State Corporation 'Rosatom' – the polysilicon plant in Zheleznogorsk (Krasnoyarsk Territory), the largest manufacturer of these products in the Russian Federation. The plant is currently undergoing modernization.

2011

Commissioning of the Continental Multi-Functional Residential Complex – one of the tallest residential buildings in Europe. A program for upgrading production facilities is currently under way at the polysilicon plant in Zheleznogorsk.
